Ben Braeunlich (aka Ben von Rönne) is a German screenwriter and showrunner. He wrote the WDR film Toter Winkel (Blind Spot), which received a nomination for the International Emmy Awards, and contributed to various episodes of Tatort, Germany’s long-running crime series. In 2018, he began working as a showrunner and developed various television projects with partners in Europe and the US, pitched projects at Series Mania, and won the Berlinale Co-Production Award for his series The Report in 2021. In addition, he works as a tutor and jury member for the International Emmys. Currently, Ben lives in Germany and Spain.

Emanuele Mochi is an Italian screenwriter based in Rome, originally from Ancona. After studying screenwriting at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, he became a finalist and winner of the Premio Solinas, one of Italy’s most prestigious screenwriting awards. He co-wrote the feature film Il Legionario, winner of the Cineasti del Presente competition at the Locarno Film Festival and released theatrically in Italy. His short film Superbi won the Best Screenplay Award at Cortinametraggio. He has worked in writers’ rooms and developed original projects for film and television, including the upcoming Netflix series Suburra Maxima. His work often blends genre storytelling with socially grounded narratives, ranging from crime and comedy to female-led and politically charged stories.

Jesica Aran is an Argentine screenwriter, director and producer based in Spain. After beginning her career in film and television in Argentina, she moved to Spain, where she continued her training in TV Scriptwriting at ECAM and built her career as a writer, creator and script coordinator.

Her work spans a variety of genres and formats, including children’s live action, drama, thriller and comedy. She has written for Netflix series, developed projects for RTVE and Disney Spain, and collaborated with leading Spanish production companies. Her projects have been selected for international initiatives including Conecta Fiction, the Series Mania Co-Pro Pitching Sessions and the CANNESERIES Writers Club. She was also selected by Spain’s ICAA to receive development support for a feature film screenplay.

Justine Kim Gautier studied screenwriting at « L’École de la Cité » and at La Fémis (TV Series Creation program). She worked as a production intern at Sacrebleu Production, and attended a TV series writing workshop led by Isao Takahata. She also wrote for animated children series. Then she co-created the 13th Street action series « I Killed My Husband » (selected at La Rochelle TV Festival), and co-wrote the first seasons of Cat's Eyes (TF1/Prime Vidéo) and Lucky Luke (France TV/Disney+).

Currently, Justine is co-writing episodes of a historical crime series (TF1), and returned to her first love (animation!) by joining various projects of Bobby Pills. She is also working on her first historical fantasy novel.

Through her writing, Justine wants to address feminist issues close to her heart, and continues to develop action, horror, and fantasy series, exploring the place of women in society.

I’m a Spanish screenwriter with more than 25 years’ experience, mainly in television drama. To date, I have written more than 400 episodes across 23 series, eight of them as co-creator, for broadcasters ranging from regional networks to national and international productions. Although I have worked across different formats and genres, I specialise in thrillers. Alongside television series, I have written radio drama, entertainment programmes, TV movies and comedy sketches. I have also worked as a playwright, script consultant and director.

Screenwriter and filmmaker from Madrid, born in 1999. Although his passion for cinema emerged early, his path has been heterodox. He studied Physics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid while training as a playwright in writing workshops. After graduating, he went on to study at ECAM, where he specialised in Screenwriting. He has worked on projects for international platforms such as “Animal” and “Salvador” (Netflix). His feature film “Una nueva mujer” was selected for the ICAA (Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales) Screenwriting Grants, and his film project “Máscaras” for DAMA (Derechos de Autor de Medios Audiovisuales). He is currently developing “El pisito”, a series based on Rafael Azcona’s screenplay of the same name.

Simona Nobile is an Italian screenwriter and creative producer with twenty years in European premium television and one conviction: the most specific stories travel the furthest.

She created and wrote 5 Minuti Prima (RAI), the first ever RaiPlay Original — a teen drama that placed a young woman's sexuality and identity at the centre of Italian television for the first time. She writes socially relevant, character-driven stories — locally rooted, driven by complex female protagonists.

She is currently developing Greater Adria (Drugi Plan), a geopolitical eco-thriller set across the Adriatic, and Operation Budapest, a crime series about a Cold War art heist spanning Italy, Hungary, and Romania. Her development executive credits include La Fuggitiva (RAI 1), Il Generale della Rovere (RAI 1), and Romeo & Juliet (Julian Fellowes).

She is a member of the European Film Academy and EWA Network, and works in five languages. Her stories are built to travel.

Stefanie Ren, born in Taiwan in 1987, studied Screenwriting/Series Producing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. After graduating, she served as head writer on the RTL sitcom "Nicht tot zu kriegen", which was nominated for the German Comedy Award in 2017. Her first feature film, "Cleo", premiered at the 2019 Berlinale as the opening film of the Generation Kplus section. Her Netflix film "For Jojo" opened the New German TV Productions section at the 2022 Munich Film Festival. In 2023, "A Thin Line", a Paramount+ series with Ren again as head writer, premiered at the Séries Mania Festival in Lille. "House of Yang", a mystery series created and written entirely by Ren, with her also serving as showrunner, premiered in the Berlinale Special Series section at the 2026 Berlin International Film Festival. The series was also nominated for the Critics’ Choice Award at this year’s Seriencamp Festival.

Based in Paris, Storm Sigal Battesti is a French-Swiss-American screenwriter, with nearly as many passports as some people have streaming subscriptions.

A graduate of the Serial Eyes program in Berlin, he has been named one of the emerging screenwriters to watch by Écran Total and Paper to Film.

He wrote several episodes of Carême, a historical series blending espionage, cuisine, and Napoleonic intrigue, directed by Martin Bourboulon for Apple TV+, and also contributed to Hors Saison, a French-Swiss crime series broadcast on France 3 and RTS.

Together with Greg Simmons, he created Goldfish, a “western on the water” set against the backdrop of tensions between scallop fishermen. Presented at Series Mania, the project was awarded CNC COCOI funding.

He is currently developing several series and feature film projects with European producers, including a first fantasy feature rooted in French folklore.

Tolula Dada is a screenwriter and story producer with over a decade of experience spanning scripted development, high volume drama, and returning series for UK and international productions.

Selected for Channel 4’s 4Screenwriting cohort in 2019, she has written on original and returning series including Just Act Normal, Gangs of London, and the forthcoming Apple TV series 12 12 12.

Tolula has extensive experience in writers’ rooms and is adept at storylining at speed. Her credits span comedy-drama, action, horror, thrillers and true crime, giving her a strong instinct for structure, tone, and sustaining story over multiple episodes.

With a particular focus on women-behaving badly, she is currently developing a slate of bold, character-driven series exploring power, ambition and intimacy, that spark conversation beyond the screen.

Tommaso Matano is an Italian screenwriter based in Rome. He graduated in Philosophy before landing to screenwriting. His credits include the series Curon and Adorazione for Netflix, Don’t Leave Me for RAI as well as several European co-productions for major broadcasters and platforms. His writing spans drama, crime and dark comedy, combining high-concept premises with grounded, specific settings and a strong emphasis on psychological depth. He is particularly interested in the tension between intimate emotional conflicts and genre storytelling.

I'm a Berlin-based Nigerian screenwriter with over 21 years of experience writing primarily for television. First heading a writing team at 29 with the soap opera Tinsel for South African Multichoice's DSTV, I spent the next years leading teams on various telenovelas for the network, as well as writing, and then head writing on MTV’s Pan-African young adult series Shuga. Since moving to Berlin in 2015 for a 2nd BA course in Practical Filmmaking, I have written on and served as Story Editor/Writer on Set for Netflix series Transatlantic. I have developed projects with Komplizen Film, Wiedemann & Berg and Maze Pictures as well as taking part in the 2nd cohort of the IFS European Showrunner Programme. Currently, 2 projects I wrote on in production: The Good and the Dead for Netflix (2 Eps, additional Story Editing) and Hamburg Days for BBC/ZDF (co-writer, 1 Ep).
