Caitlin Black
Caitlin Black is a Scottish sports director known for an observational and portraiture style. Influenced by the outdoors, Caitlin crafts films that are both sensory and personable, often blending natural lighting, docu-style cinematography, and close, intimate vignettes set against vast backdrops of landscape. Her eye for sensibility has earned her collaborations with global brands such as UEFA, NIVEA, Real Madrid, Strava, and Red Bull.

Daisy Ifama
Daisy Ifama is a filmmaker raised between the Midlands and south London. She is passionate about stories with purpose – that disrupt the traditional landscape and leave lasting impressions beyond the screen.
Daisy has directed a number of short documentaries with Netflix, The Guardian, Google and Random Acts exploring complex conversations covering topics including queerness in small-town England, mental health, police brutality and justice in London and emergency obstetric care in West Africa. Her films have received international acclaim, screening at festivals including Sheffield Doc Fest, Holly Shorts, LSFF, Aesthetica, Montreal Black International Film Festival and CinemAfrica.
In 2015 Daisy co-founded the award-winning media platform gal-dem, centring her work on community filmmaking. She has since expanded this to workshop facilitation in secondary schools, teaching film clubs and social justice programmes across London.
Daisy is committed to disrupting the grey area and finding ways to bring her wide-ranging personal experiences into thought-provoking storytelling that goes beyond the screen.

Danielle Sellwood
Danielle Sellwood is a documentary maker who specialises in sports and adventure stories, particularly those involving women, the disabled community, and older people. After a long career in the sports industry as a sportswear designer, trend forecaster, and journalist, her frustration with the lack of representation of women’s stories led her to filmmaking. As a former international canoeist, she has a rich understanding of sport and its benefits to society and brings this knowledge to her nuanced and sensitive documentaries. Alongside her storytelling skills, Danielle is a campaigner for equal access for the disabled community, specifically working to ensure films include audio description, descriptive captions and sign language.
Her work has been selected for film festivals in the UK and internationally and has been reviewed in national and international press.

Georgie Yukiko-Donovan
Georgie Yukiko Donovan is a British-Japanese filmmaker known for her award-winning storytelling that bridges human interest and socio-political issues. Her work spans film, TV, and podcasts, with credits including The Negotiators (IDA-nominated), Netflix’s Heart of Invictus, and the BFI/Doc Society-funded The Gay Games. Passionate about amplifying marginalised voices, Georgie directs Rising Waves, an organisation championing British East and Southeast Asian creatives.
In recognition of her impact, she was named to FILM LONDON’s Breaking Glass Ceiling cohort, received WDM Entertainment’s Frame Focus Fund, and was selected for Ones to Watch (TV Foundation) and as a 2024 Breakthrough Leader (The TV Collective). Georgie’s projects explore topics such as racial identity in Japan, anti-feminism in South Korea, and trauma recovery in war veterans, blending cinematic beauty with intimate storytelling to centre underrepresented perspectives.

Grace Taylorson Smith Pritchard
Grace T.S.P is a multiple award-winning Documentary Director and Adventure Photographer, known for her keen ability to uncover compelling stories. Her latest short film, The Horsemen of Mallorca received international acclaim and numerous documentary film awards. Grace's work has taken her across the globe, engaging with diverse cultures from Europe to Asia, forging deep connections with her subjects, both during and outside of interviews, bringing authentic narratives to life.

Hannah Bailey
Hannah Bailey is a passionate award-winning director, producer and photographer who has been immersed in the underground scenes of action sports, adventure and the outdoors for over 15 years. She has travelled to Afghanistan to document girls skateboarding in a conflict zone with NGO Skateistan, Albania to cover the fight to protect the Vjosa for Patagonia and EcoAlbania, and spends the rest of the time in the Highlands of Scotland supporting outdoor communities driving change.
Her directorial credits include "Thrawn" with Patagonia Films, and the series "Positive Action" created, produced and directed for BBC Earth and Outside TV. Her work spans short film, TV, podcast and digital, for global brands and organisations including BBC, Patagonia, Protect Our Winters, Vice TV, Red Bull, High Snobiety, and MPB.
Her work as a storyteller has focused on individuals, communities and projects that highlight outdoor sports for environmental or societal good. Driven to push these stories and messages, she hopes to support the outdoors community in being passionate advocates for change.

Hannah Congdon
Hannah Congdon is a producer/director working in independent film and broadcast documentaries. With a background in current affairs and a focus on human rights, her films lie at the cross-section between cinema and journalism.
Hannah’s short documentaries have screened at major UK festivals like Underwire and Manchester, and her previous short MARKS (2021) was released by the Huffington Post.
Hannah’s micro-budget feature documentary WOMEN BEHIND THE WHEEL (2023) won the EIFF Work in Progress Award and premiered at Edinburgh International Film Festival. It went on to screen at European human rights festivals, including One World Prague and Verzio in Budapest. In 2023 Hannah was selected for the BIFA Springboard scheme for emerging directors and made a BAFTA Connect member. As a producer, she has worked on observational and investigative films for PBS, BBC, Channel 4, ITV and National Geographic. Away from film, you can find Hannah running, swimming, hiking, or playing for her very beloved and very amateur local women’s football team.

Isabella Culver
Isabella Culver is a Writer / Director / Producer hailing from South-East London. Drawing inspiration from her own lived experiences and the diverse people she encounters; her work focuses on amplifying women's stories. Isabella is passionate about creating narratives that resonate with young audiences.
Isabella’s extensive work in the world of music videos has greatly shaped her artistic vision, influencing her unique approach to storytelling and visual direction. Isabella Culver has worked across TV & Film, Music Videos, Branded Content, Commercials and Documentary. She is keen to continue her work documenting the high intensity world of Motorsports and to see what other sports this leads to.

Somina Fombo
Somina 'Mena' Fombo is a documentary director and co founder of Blak Wave Productions creating content for TV, film and digital across the BBC, C4, BET Paramount and the British Film Institute (BFI).
She is passionate about crafting narratives that illuminate the intersection of social history, women, sports, and queer Black communities. Her first documentary The Glorious Ones premiered at BFI Flare London LGBTQ+ film festival in 2022 and she was the first winner of the Iris Prize documentary film fund directing Some Girls Hate Dresses for Out Tv Original & Froot Tv released globally in January 2024.
She a Breakthrough Leader with the TV Collective, a voting member of BAFTA, a TEDx speaker and industry coach and mentor to emerging filmmakers.
Fun Fact: Mena was in the Team GB American Football Practice Squad, a two time national champion with Birmingham Lions Women's American Football Team, and played county rugby for the South East!

Yasmin Griffin
Yasmin is a sports filmmaker with her latest film ‘The Boathouse’ screened at the Lift-Off Film Festival. Being a sportsperson herself, Yasmin hopes to tell stories that inspire the next generation of sporting talent no matter gender or background.
Securing a fully funded scholarship at Imperial College London, Yasmin completed her Masters in Science Media Production, solidifying her passion for documentary filmmaking.
During her Masters, Yasmin worked at Arrow Media and Windfall Films where she got hands-on experience learning the craft of production and storytelling. She also worked on the BBC Great North Run and SailGP where she learned about live sport production. Yasmin is very excited to join Warner Bros. Discovery and continue to hone her craft of sports storytelling.
