Tanesha Hartsfield
I’m a native New Yorker, born and raised in Harlem, and the oldest of my siblings—a role that taught me leadership early on. After earning my BA in Film Production from Brooklyn College, I built my career around storytelling that bridges culture, history, and human connection, both on and off screen.
As a Production Coordinator, my experience spans acclaimed television and film projects, including And Just Like That (Season 1), Scenes from a Marriage, and most recently, Black Rabbit. Each opportunity has sharpened my skills in navigating the fast-paced world of production while deepening my commitment to creating meaningful stories.
Outside of film, I collect antique hair pomades inspired by my grandmother, a 1950s hairstylist—a hobby that reflects my love for preserving culture and untold stories. When I’m not working or collecting, I enjoy reading, gardening, or roller skating. For me, every film, object, and memory is a story waiting to be told—and I’ve made it my life’s work to tell them with care.
