Helena Boateng

Helena Boateng discovered her love for production whilst producing films with the BFI Film Academy and internationally with the Young Film Academy. Helena proceeded to spend her next year as a production trainee with NBCUniversal, an opportunity offered to London Screen Academy Alumni. She is beyond excited for her upcoming year at NFTS with the incredible support of Warner Bros. Discovery for the prestigious education on offer.

Tamera Gathuru

Tamera Gathuru

Tamera Gathuru is a 23 year old aspiring film professional from Northampton, UK, with a Kenyan rooted background. Her passion for film began in childhood, creating vlogs on YouTube, and she initially pursued a Chemistry degree at Nottingham Trent University to meet family expectations. During her studies, she took on leadership roles, including President of the Makeup Society. In 2023, Tamera reignited her dream by interning at After Party Studios London, working on projects like the Sidemen Charity Football Match. Now, with a place on the Production Management course at the National Film and Television School and a Warner Bros. Discovery Access scholarship, she is ready to make her mark in the industry.
