Ebony Washington

Ebony Washington
Ebony Washington is a writer and filmmaker born and raised in Port Chester, New York. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production with a focus on Television Writing. While studying at SUNY Purchase’s School of Film and Media Studies, she worked as production staff on The Maury Povich show and Orange is the New Black. After taking a writing workshop in New York with showrunner, Krista Vernoff, she relocated to Los Angeles in 2019 to become her Executive Assistant and served as Writers' Assistant on Grey's Anatomy for 3 seasons.
Ebony writes one-hour dramedies/cross genres set in exciting worlds about characters finding themselves in a world that tries so dang hard to define who they are, expecting them to become what is deemed "standard." She wrote and directed several short films and is now editing and co-producing her first documentary. She is also a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo and a green belt in Krav Maga. She enjoys drawing and painting in her free time and an annual binge of Desperate Housewives.
A member of IATSE Local 871, Ebony walked the picket lines for 7 months in solidarity with WGA and SAG-AFTRA to fight for a fair contract. She is repped by Stagecoach Entertainment.

Madison Margeaux

Madison Margeaux
A true southerner hailing from Dallas, Madison Margeaux is a drama writer who loves writing about existentialists determined to find answers. Madison is currently the Writers’ Assistant on ABC’s GREY’S ANATOMY S20 and previously assisted on WB’s QUEEN SUGAR S7 as the Writers' Assistant along with a PA stint in post-production for HBO Max’s DOOM PATROL S3. She is a recipient of the 2024 Warner Brothers Discovery Access Writers Program and her scripts have garnered her other TV Writing competition placements such as a 2024 FX John Singleton Scholarship Semifinalist, 2024/2023 Disney Writing Fellowship Semifinalist, 2020 CBS/NAACP Writers Mentorship Program Finalist along with a 2020 Academy Nicholl Writing Fellowship Semifinalist screenplay nod. Madison obtained an MFA in Writing for Screen & Television from USC's School of Cinematic Arts where she was awarded The Jack Nicholson Scholarship in Writing by the film school’s writing faculty and donors. She received her BA in Journalism and Production from The University of Alabama and most days can be found eating frozen yogurt in the library's geopolitics section all while wishing for Nick Saban to unretire.

Robert Axelrod

Robert Axelrod
Robert Axelrod is a gay Jewish writer whose work focuses on exploring the intersectionality of identity and culture. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Syracuse University where he holds a BFA in Drama. Robert is a past recipient of the Humanitas New Voices fellowship, CineStory TV fellowship, and was part of the inaugural class of the Jewish Writer Initiative’s Digital Storyteller Lab. In 2020, he was one of the winners of the A-List, an annual competition honoring the best work written by assistants in the entertainment industry. Robert was named one of the winners of the Echo Theater Company’s inaugural playwriting competition, and previously won the ScreenCraft Stage Play Competition, which led to his award-winning play opening the 2021 IAMA Theatre Company’s New Works Festival.
In addition to his professional and creative pursuits, Robert has been a volunteer crisis service counselor with the Trevor Project, the nation’s leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention service for LGBTQ youth.
